| Dee Ridgeway (Slowninja(GT28RS Inconel Z), gave me a spin in his GT28RS/ .64a/r equipped Z yesterday. My experiences were wonderful, The car felt VERY strong and once he got going, the turbos did not lag bad at all (he also has the GD Inconel mani's). They kick in HARD... The car sounded awesome. VERY good topend power.
Dee said he would compare the GT28RS .64a/r with sport 600's. He was ONLY running 15psi of boost. He had his EVC4 OFF, and his wastegate base settings were 15psi. The car pulled insanely, I could not imagine how great it would've felt with 30psi. The BEST part of the ride was... well the suspension.
Although, I drive fast and aggressively in my Z all the time. I have never gotten "scared" from sitting in the passenger seat. I trust Dee's driving and his HID's :). From the driver seat, You will feel MUCH more comfortable than sitting in the driver seat. I was going nuts when he took turns and showed me his suspension setup. MY GOD!!!! Is all I can say. The car seriously felt like a REAL race car. So tight and sturdy. I have the same suspension mods as him (except sway bars, removed HICAS) I cannot wait to install them all and have somthing similar to his response, It was absolutley insane!!! His car is also looking VERY sweet, he posted some pics a few weeks back.. [ http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=general&msg_id=1623781 ] Dee also has Ash's Cobra brake kit, 13" rotors etc with stock calipers (which are plenty fine, Z's stock rotor size is the limiting factor.
Let me tell you... Those brakes are HARDCORE, stopped on a dime and are 2piece rotors. Just insane! Its just somthing that you would have to experience. If you have the money and want to spend it, Get stoptechs. BUT, I do not think that it is needed. I am sure Dee will be pushing ~700rwhp w/ high boost/water inj/race gas. The stock calipers w/ HAWK pads and the cobra rotors would be more than enough. Here is his mods list..

The handeling was just phenominal!! I have gotten rides in very quick Z's, But nothing that handled the way that this thing did. Props to Dee and how he has set his car up!! VERY VERY tight/fast car!
